Amanda Brugel
Pointe Claire lies in that quiet part of Montreal's West Island. Many people don't know the significance of the word as they believe that it's an independent Island to the west of Montreal. Actually, it is a part of the West Island includes the entire portion of Lachine up to the west. Amanda Brugel is said to be born on the West Island, although her visit was very brief. Brugel lived in Courtice near Oshawa. Her early ambition was to dance, however, a rapid growth rate meant that she outgrew her dance partners.
